Patriot3 would like to congratulate Austria’s elite Counter Terror Unit, Einsatzkommando (EKO) Cobra, on turning 40 this year! EKO Cobra has continued to prove itself as a premier special police force throughout the world through its expertise, approach, and tactics. In 2017 alone, COBRA was involved in over 5,300 different operations throughout Austria, including several international missions.
During the 40th Anniversary celebration, COBRA conducted a demonstration for higher command of the Special Police Directorate and the Minister of Interior, Herbert Kickl. The equipment highlighted during the exercise was their Achleitner PMV Survivor 2 and their MARS Elevated Tactics System, which COBRA has been operating for nearly 10 years!
