MODULAR DESIGN FOR THE FUTURE
A modular design offers the advantage of easy customization and scalability, allowing combat divers to tailor the Hammerhead SMV to mission needs. For example, storage modules can be added to carry additional equipment, air modules for on board air supply, additional battery modules for extended power capabilities, and specialty modules for specific operations.
Additionally, it facilitates streamlined upgrades and repairs, reducing downtime and extending the product's overall lifespan.
FULLY AUTONOMOUS OR MANUAL CONTROL
The integration of both autonomous and manual control while operating in harsh maritime environments provides a crucial dual capability. This hybrid approach allows for efficient autonomous navigation in challenging conditions while also offering the flexibility for human intervention, ensuring adaptability and enhanced safety in unpredictable situations
Combined with proprietary software, the Hammerhead SMV can use either the Navigator Delta 2, Dive Tablet 2 or E-TAC from Shark Marine Technologies, for its navigation. The modular design of the navigation system provides the ability to detach from the Hammerhead so you can use the navigator separately or protect sensitive information. Manual controls work independently from the navigation system when manual operation is required.

REDUNDANT POWER
Comprising five battery packs with a capacity of 21Ah each, the 105Ah battery module enhances system safety and redundancy through its discrete modular design. The Hammerhead SMV's flexibility is demonstrated as additional battery modules can be seamlessly incorporated to boost power and extend mission duration. The Hammerhead SMV's modularity ensures future adaptability, facilitating upgrades to the power source in line with emerging technologies.
The Hammerhead SMV control module contains a power accessory port. This connection provides up to 1000 watts of power for accessories such as heated wetsuits, lights, cameras and other equipment.
POWERFUL THRUST & CONTROL
The Hammerhead SMV is maneuvered by four robust thrusters, with two rotating thrusters positioned at the bow and two fixed-position thrusters located at the stern, each capable of delivering 100 lbs of thrust.
Housed within impact-resistant aluminum enclosures, each thruster features a powerful brushless motor. Thrust is generated through a hermetically sealed magnetically coupled drive and a resilient glass-filled nylon propeller for enhanced durability.
