U.S. Marines assigned to the 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, conducted a series of training exercises around the use of their Jetboots Diver Propulsion Systems (DPS) at Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan. The training exercises were to help ensure that the battalion maintains its underwater lethality while operating the Jetboots systems in different operational scenarios.
The Jetboots DPS has allowed the divers to increase their overall travel range and speed, while saving much needed energy and effort during amphibious operations.
