Operators with SEK NRW used their MARS Elevated Tactics System to raid a suspected terrorists apartment in Herne, Germany on June 2. Authorities were under the suspicion that the 25 year old Syrians were planning a bomb attack somewhere in Berlin.
SEK members used the Dynamic Distraction Lighting (DDL) feature on their MARS to spotlight the targets window and entry point (blinding the suspect). They breached the apartments 2nd floor window and deployed a flashbang before making entry. Both suspects were arrested immediately, without incident.
